Home-Start Oxford are now delivering Groups:

Knowing Me, Knowing You

If you, or you know of someone, who is feeling sad, anxious or isolated following the birth of your/their baby, Home-Start Oxford in partnership with Oxfordshire Health Visitors are facilitating ‘Knowing Me, Knowing You’ Groups for anyone who has had a baby in the last 11 months. The Group runs for 7 weeks aiming to support emotional health and wellbeing and allows space to have special time with your baby.  For further information please either contact Home-Start Oxford or speak to your local Health Visitor.

Peep Groups

Our Family Group Coordinator Lisa West, is currently facilitating Peep Groups in Witney (further information on Witney Groups here) aimed at parents who would like to attend groups, but lack the confidence to do so. These groups are invite only with a focus on learning in the home and run for 8 weeks. For further information on these groups please contact Lisa West lisa@homestart-oxford.org.uk

Who can refer a family to Home-Start?

Referrals can be made by any professional working with a family with children aged under five. Families can also contact us directly, or alternatively may be referred by a family member or friend. We ask you to discuss with the family needing support, before making the referral.

To ensure that we are offering a safe service, we have a cap on the number of families we can work with at any one time. To avoid disappointment and ensure we have availability, it can be helpful to give us a call before completing a referral form.
